By reading this site about our bovine herd, you agree to the few terms below. They're kept short on purpose — written plainly, like a fence line you can actually follow — and meant to be read, not just scrolled past.
Read it, share it, quote it to your heart's content. Just please don't scrape the whole site hoofs and all, break what we've built, or spoil the grazing for other folks who come here to read about the herd.
Everything here is written from real time spent out on the grazing land, walking fence lines with a muscular, hardworking herd of cattle — and conditions out there change with the weather, the season and the ground underfoot. Nothing on this site is advice for your own operation: every farmer and rancher stays responsible for their own animals, their own pasture, and their own decisions.
Short quotes with a link back are always welcome, like borrowing a bit of meadow grass. For anything longer, just ask first.
If you send us a message, a story idea, a photo of the oxen, or a correction about something we got wrong, you're giving us permission to reply to you directly and, where it matters, to publish that correction so other readers on the ranch see the update too.
We sometimes link out to other farms, markets and ranch pages around the web. Those sites belong to someone else, and once you've left our gate, we can't answer for what you find there.
These terms may be updated as the ranch grows and the herd changes with the seasons. The date at the top of the page always shows the current version, so you'll know right away if anything here has been updated.
